Onigiri at Tokyo Station

Onigiri, also called omusubi, #Japanesebreakfast at #TokyoStation Honnoriya. I was craving roe so picked mentaiko spicy pollack roe and ikura salmon roe. Include miso soup with carrots, spinach, and fried tōfu. Diners select from one of @marukome_family’s four miso flavors. I chose sea bream which was oishii delicious.

There is a small eat-in section and take-out is also available. I like the collaboration between #Honnoriya rice ball shop and #Marukome miso. The shop is located near the #GranSta Underground North Entrance (take a left after exiting Tokyo Station).

I don’t know if you took a break from your emails or if I was not receiving them for some reason…but I am receiving them now and they are so much fun! I lived in Tokyo for just one year (2014) and have been back to visit a few times but I always miss it dearly. Your emails and pictures just make my morning! Thank you so much for taking the time to send these posts!
