Osaka Dotonbori

Dotonbori area in Osaka is a great part of the city to visit. It’s along a river and at night the city lights up. Jyuu en pan is a hot pancake like bread that is filled with cheese. It is shaped like a ten yen coin, hence the name jyuu en (ten yen) pan (bread). The joke is that it costs 500 yen ($3.75) instead of ten yen. 😂

It is sold near the Don Quijote shop. It’s popular so the line could be long. We later came across the same ten yen bread being sold at Osaka castle the next day at a food stall. The line was much shorter here!

Dotonbori is filled with food shops.
