One of my favorite #onigiri shops in Tokyo is Jyukkoku in the #depachika of #Ginza #Matsuya department store. There are always tempting fillings including cheese (trust me), grilled salmon, umami-rich mentaiko spicy pollack roe, and so much more.
The vegetarian options are also great. Ginger, kombu kelp, and today’s spicy fermented chili paste and spicy pickled takana mustard greens.
There is a rooftop picnic area at Matsuya if you can’t wait to bring it home or to the hotel room.
