Do you know of any good breakfast places in the Shibuya station area that are open early, say 8:00 – 9:00 AM
My go to breakfast in Shibuya is boulangerie Gontran Cherrier which opens at 7:30 a.m. I believe. I have also had standing soba, but for me nothing stands up to A pain au chocolat or one of his savory breads.

I’m really baffled by the new policy of Teuchi Soba Narutomi, since I had many great lunches there in the past. I wasn’t actually turned down, but last winter my hotel concierge warned me when I mentioned the place.
Yes, Narutomi no longer accepts non-Japanese customers. I don’t know why…
