On #Sado Island we stayed at a charming and rustic #onsen hot springs #ryokan inn called Kiraku きらく.

The outdoor #rotenburo hot springs overlooked a lake. The setting sun a reminder that an eventful day was coming to an end.

Breakfast was as I love. Rice, miso soup, natto, and small dishes.

Kiraku is an excellent value. Only ¥15,000 ($100) per person which includes two meals and the hot springs.

The only downside is the pillow, which seems to be the case at most of these older inns.🤣 I will overlook it. After dinner we went for another soak and when we returned to our room our futons were laid out on the tatami mats.
