Tenka Zushi is a kaitenzushi, conveyor-belt sushi, chain with a branch near Kichijoji Station. What makes this different from the other big chains is that the sushi is made by hand, not by a sushi robot machine. That means the rice is still warm.

My girlfriend has been telling me for years how she loves this shop. We finally made it recently and now I am kicking myself for not going earlier. Excellent cost performance. I think all of the sushi chefs were in their 60s (or 70s?).

My favorite were the rolls, including some fun-named avocado rolls:
Hawaiian – tuna and avocado
Canadian – salmon and avocado
It’s a busy shop. Not sure if there is any English menu (I don’t think there is). But the basic neta is on the menu – tuna, salmon, ikura, squid, shrimp, and tamago-yaki egg.
