Arigato, Sarah, hope you are genki! Did you see my Washington Post article on Monzennakacho? https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/japan/monzennakacho-monnaka-neighborhood-tokyo/?utm_term=.285bd1001ece
Thanks! Your book is fantastic.

Thanks Yukari. Your book paved the way for my love of Japan. Wondering if anything is left of the wonderful small restaurants that were at the inner market at Tsukiji? Did any of them move to the new market? I’m thinking specifically of a few of the shops you’ve mentioned in posts over the years that served kaki-fry, salmon-butter yaki, tonkatsu, etc. Best, Jeff Sulman
Arigato, for the kind words, Jeff. Most of those small restaurants have moved to Toyosu Market, but I wouldn’t make a special trip to Toyosu just to eat there. Be sure to get your coffee at Tsukiji Turret Coffee (new since my book was published).
