In #Nagoya is one of Japan’s most photographed #Tsutaya #bookstores. There is a grand display from the first to second floors. Naturally, a very popular spot of taking photos, but on the first floor there were signs that said to please not take photos. But lots of people were taking photos from the second floor, so I joined along. My only disappointment is that these are not real books but fake ones for display.

This Tsutaya is in the Aeon Mall. A fifteen-minute walk from Nagoya Station. The other cool things in the mall is a Kitano Ace gourmet supermarket – famous for a wall of precooked curry retort packs that resemble a bookshelf. There is also a huge Aeon supermarket.

Noritake, the famous tableware shop, I believe is based in Nagoya. There is a large shop including a section of discounted outlet pieces. My favorite were the #Ghibli #Totoro series of tableware.

OMG I’m so there! Is this something I can do on the way to Osaka from Tokyo by train, or would I need to stay the night in Nagoya? Sarah
Easy to do it from Osaka to Tokyo. About a 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station.☺️
No need to spend the night.
Great! Thank you Yukari!
Sounds like a really nice place to go!
I love bookstores! This is a big one.
