Doutour Coffee

$3.00 breakfast

Doutour is a chain of coffee shops. The morning set includes a cup of coffee and a sando, here tuna salad. Busy with office workers and students studying.

Throughout Tokyo, often near stations.

What impresses me with Doutour is that they are everywhere, from a small country side town, Tokyo subburbs, etc. That is sometimes the only place to sit and wait for your next train when there is only one every 30 mn or hour, in countryside Japan. (ok… sometimes there is only a convenience store, and these times can feel miserable then)

Usually the first open at 7 am and the last closed at 9 or 10 pm.
    Benri.

Always the same design, layout, a bit “oldies Japan end of 80’s”, and always filled with senior people in the countryside and subburbs.

Together with MisDo they got their hand on the local market.

    1. Benri! I also like that they are brightly lit.
